Providing building envelope engineering consultation services at Scott Base, Kaizon was engaged by Hugh Broughton Architects on behalf of Antarctica New Zealand.

Kaizon Engineering Limited (KEL) was engaged by Hugh Broughton Architects on behalf of Antarctica New Zealand to provide building envelope engineering consultation services at the Scott Base Redevelopment. The project consists of three new mixed-use research facilities and staff accommodations with interlinking bridges. KEL’s consultation services include collaborating with the internationally-diverse project team made of consultants from the UK, Ireland and New Zealand to deliver a fit-for-purpose, modern, and advanced building envelope to support New Zealand’s science development in Antarctica for the next 50 years.
